Description
Historiese Slawehuis op Vredenheim is a charming self-catering cottage set on a scenic wine farm about 8 km outside Stellenbosch. As one of the oldest buildings on the farm, it combines heritage character with modern comfort. Surrounded by vineyards, gardens, and mountain views, it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway near top wine estates.
This cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The unit features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge-freezer. The lounge and dining area offer comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and also boast a fireplace. For entertainment, a smart TV with streaming services, free Wi-Fi and a pool table are available.
The main living area opens onto an enclosed patio with seating and a built-in braai. Guests are afforded secure on-site parking and can take advantage of the on-site restaurant. After 17:00, the farm is closed to the public, and guests are welcome to explore the gardens at their leisure. You might even hear the wild cats roar from the nearby wild cat park.
