Horizon Savannah Tented Camp and Chalets are located inside the gates of the eastern boundary of the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve. Situated on a 60-hectare conservancy hosting only plains game, makes Horizon Savannah safe for walking, cycling and running. It also offers easy access to the self-drive route in the Big 5 area giving guests the best of both worlds.
Accommodation comprises 2 chalets, 2 Safari Suites and 1 tented camp.
The Four sleeper chalet can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The bathroom has a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. The comfortable lounge area features 2 single beds, leather couches, and armchairs. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, kettle, microwave oven, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. The cottage has sliding doors opening to a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and chairs, and a braai facility. There is also a private fire pit area with seating.
There are two Safari Suites. One accommodating 4 guests and the other sleeps two. Both have kitchenettes with fridge, microwaves and two plate gas stoves. Cutlery and crockery also provided. The Safari suites have drop down canvas window openings which gives them a bit of a camping vibe.
The Two-sleeper chalet accommodates 2 guests and is furnished with a queen-size bed and a comfortable leather couch It has a bathroom fitted with a shower, an outdoor dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a fridge, microwave, and stove. There is also a private boma with braai facilities overlooking the swimming pool.
Horizon Savannah Tented Camp is booked as a whole and accommodates 4 guests. One tent has a queen-size bed and the other tent has 2 single beds. There is a private-use building at the site with a bathroom fitted with a shower, kitchenette, indoor dining and fireplace and an outdoor private boma with seating.
On-site facilities include a swimming pool, secure parking, and a braai area.
Other activities in the area include Arlington Craft Brewery as well as other restaurants. We are situated 26km from Camp Discovery. Organized game drives, as well as self-drive routes, are also easily accessible in the Big 5 reserve nearby.

2 Sleeper Safari Suite accommodates 2 guests in an open plan unit. The unit consists of a queen sized bed as well as a kitchenette with a bar fridge, and microwave. There is an ensuite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and wash basin. Guests have access to the outside patio which has seating for 4 to enjoy a meal outside or just unwind.
