Amazing. Our stay was great and the host was always available.

A very relaxing and comfortable weekend away! Our stay was amazing! We did not go on any game drives as we had two babies in the guest party. However, the lodge was exceptionally comfortable and equipped with everything we needed, and more! Zebra and Impala grazed right near our lodge and the bird life was abundant. A very well needed and relaxing break from Joburg and only 1 hour 20 minutes away! We will definitely be returning. Thank you to Eric and Lolly for their professionalism and hospitality!

10 out of 10. Beautiful, well done! Eric was a fantastic host, a wonderful house. The game drive with Eric was great! Saw some of the big 5 and story time was awesome, so informative. The house is fantastic, beautiful. Great location and super clean. Jacuzzi time in the evening was wonderful. I would recommend staying here any day!

We had a wonderful stay at Katekile 39. Eric, our host, was fantastic and made us feel so welcome. Recommended for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and reconnect with themselves.

Underwhelming. The house is poorly maintained. The sliding door to the outside could not be closed on the first night. It felt like we were house sitting someone's house. The showers and baths need to be cleaned to a higher standard. We were accused of stealing towels when they didn't do a proper inspection of the house after we left. We extended a lot of grace to the host with all the shortcomings, but the sentiment was not returned.
