Idwala Le Ingwe Hiker’s Haven is a private and peaceful self-catering mountain retreat, perfect for couples, families, or small groups looking to escape into nature. Set apart from the main lodge at Gate 2, approximately 4.4 km away, this secluded unit forms part of the Idwala Le Ingwe farm and is nestled alongside a natural kloof, offering a tranquil bushveld setting with beautiful scenery that comes alive after good rains.
This property can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The third bedroom is furnished with two single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The unit features a fully equipped self-catering kitchen fitted with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and kettle, making it ideal for comfortable extended stays. The open-plan living area offers comfortable seating, creating a warm and relaxed space to unwind after a day in nature.
The home includes a large covered stoep with a built-in braai, a private boma area for outdoor evenings, and a private swimming pool overlooking the valley.
