Even though we have a fully integrated rain water harvesting system, we are still dependent on municipal water supply in the event of no rain or dry periods. Unfortunately, like most towns in South Africa, we experience serious municipal water supply issues and outages. Our water harvesting system has a slight delay to kick into operation should municipal supply fail. Yes, at a huge cost, we sunk a borehole, but sadly this turned out to be a dry hole. Wonderful accommodation. It was a lovely stay. Linda and staff were amazing and the rooms were neat and tidy. I would recommend Intaka Guest House to anyone going to King William's Town. Breakfast was great. Perfect for an overnight stay and spending a few nights.
