JS Rossouw @ Vrugtegeur Guest Farm is a self-catering farm house on Vrugtegeur Guest Farm in the Koo Valley, 45 km from Montagu along the R318. The property is ideal for families and groups seeking a peaceful countryside retreat surrounded by mountains.
The house accommodates up to 14 guests in 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed. The second and third bedrooms each have a double bed and a bunk bed. The fourth and fifth bedrooms each have 2 single beds. Bathrooms are fitted with a bath or shower, basin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, extra freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The open-plan dining area seats 12 guests and flows into the lounge, which has comfortable seating, a Smart TV and an indoor braai. A second lounge offers additional seating and a Smart TV. Guests can use their own Netflix and DStv accounts and free Wi-Fi is available.
The house opens onto a wooden deck with a hot tub and views of the mountains and garden. Guests have access to a private swimming pool and a communal sunken trampoline. The surrounding area offers scenic walking trails, nearby wine estates, a marked farm trail and a dam for catch-and-release fishing. Montagu is 45 km away and offers hot springs, a nature reserve and several museums.
