JS Rossouw @ Vrugtegeur Guest Farm is a spacious self-catering farmhouse situated on Vrugtegeur Guest Farm in the scenic Koo Valley, approximately 45 km from Montagu along the R318. Surrounded by mountains and peaceful countryside, the farmhouse is ideal for families and groups seeking a relaxing farm stay.
The farmhouse accommodates up to 14 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The second and third bedrooms each contain a double bed and a bunk bed. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds. The bathrooms are fitted with either a bath or a shower, as well as a washbasin and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, additional freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The open-plan dining area offers seating for 12 guests and flows into the lounge, which features comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and an indoor braai. A second lounge provides additional seating and a Smart TV. Free Wi-Fi is available, and guests can log in using their own Netflix and DStv accounts.
The living area opens onto a wooden deck with a wood-fired hot tub overlooking the surrounding mountains and gardens. Guests also have access to a private swimming pool and a communal sunken trampoline. The farm offers scenic walking trails, a marked farm route, a dam for catch-and-release fishing, and is within easy reach of nearby wine estates. Montagu, approximately 45 km away, offers hot springs, a nature reserve, and several museums.
