Description

Karnmelkspruit River Resort offers camping facilities for those with tents and caravans on the banks of the beautiful Karnmelkspruit river. There is also 1 fully self-catering cottage that is ideal for groups. This is a great holiday destination for nature lovers.

The resort has 25 campsites for those with caravans or tents. The sites are on the edge of the river among the trees and shrubs; there is no electricity. Ablution facilities are available with hot water. The cottage has gas and solar facilities and is equipped for self-catering. There is a large lapa with braai facilities at the caravan park.

Guests can enjoy swimming in the river or wandering on many of the hiking trails. Trout fishing is available at an additional cost is and is one of the main attractions. There is a breathtaking gorge at Karnmelkspruit River Resort, a vulture sanctuary and a historical train tunnel.
