Warm, family-friendly escape with excellent hospitality and memorable wildlife. We had a wonderful stay at this family-friendly accommodation. The place was fully equipped and perfect for a comfortable family getaway. Flip communicated exceptionally well throughout our stay, which made everything seamless. The game drive was a highlight — we were lucky enough to see most of the animals. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxed and memorable experience.

Comfortable, convenient, clean, friendly stay. The stay was amazing! They took really good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were all clean and I love that everybody has their own space too. The game drives were incredible, we saw a lot and Japie was friendly and informative throughout every drive. Surrounded by close friends and family in such a peaceful, beautiful setting made the occasion unforgettable. The lodge is thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. Whether sitting around the firepit under the stars or spotting wildlife on our game drives, every moment felt magical. The lodge itself and the surrounding garden were immaculately maintained — discreetly and diligently looked after by the hosts, who ensured everything was spotlessly clean and perfectly in place throughout our stay. During the game drives, the host was incredibly considerate and quickly picked up that many of us were keen birders. He made sure to stop in just the right spots so everyone could get a good look and take great photos. The owner was outstanding — warm, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions or requests. His friendly approach made us feel welcome from the very start. We recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Kierieklapper to celebrate a birthday with family and friends, and it surpassed all our expectations. The venue was impeccably clean, well-equipped with potjie pans for baking bread, and offered ample storage for our groceries. The staff were outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and exceptionally accommodating. The owner personally checked in twice to ensure our satisfaction, demonstrating genuine care for their guests. As frequent visitors to Dinokeng, we’ve stayed at various camps, but Kierieklapper stood out. For the first time, we were thrilled to see elephants, and although we heard lions roaring each morning, we didn’t spot them. The camp’s serene location by the watering hole is ideal for relaxing with a book or gathering around the fire to share stories. Kierieklapper’s attention to detail was evident in the pristine condition of the facilities and the pride the team takes in maintaining the property. Everything functioned perfectly, and the staff’s willingness to assist made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend Kierieklapper and look forward to returning for a longer visit.
