Khanya Safari Lodge is a safari-tented camp located within the Olifants View Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Balule Reserve in the greater Kruger ecosystem. The camp offers a low-impact bush stay focused on conservation and wildlife immersion.

Five Luxe Safari Tents, which offer a comfortable and authentic bush experience, combine classic safari charm with essential modern conveniences.
Each solar-powered en-suite tent accommodates two guests and features a private patio, allowing you to relax and enjoy the surrounding natural environment. The tents are furnished with two three-quarter beds, which can be converted into a queen-size bed upon request. A standing fan is provided for additional comfort during warmer days.
The en-suite bathroom includes a basin, shower, and toilet, along with basic guest amenities to ensure a convenient and enjoyable stay.
Four Meru-style safari tents, which are ideal for families, are positioned next to each other but with no interleading access, allowing each unit to maintain complete privacy. They are designed to offer a seamless blend of authentic safari living with modern comfort. Each tent features a private entrance and a fully equipped en-suite bathroom with a traditional donkey boiler system for hot water, providing a rustic yet comfortable experience.
These tents are perfect for guests seeking a classic safari ambience combined with private facilities and thoughtful design, ensuring a memorable and immersive bush experience. Please note that these tents do not have a view of the waterhole and are situated at the back of the Luxe Safari Tents.
On-site facilities include communal camp areas for shared use and off-grid living, powered by solar energy. Wildlife moves freely through the camp, and guests may encounter elephants, antelope, and birdlife within the unfenced environment.
The camp is positioned for wildlife viewing and nature-based activities within the Olifants View Nature Reserve and the wider Balule Reserve, offering access to game drives and bush experiences associated with the greater Kruger area.
