Klein Geluk is a luxurious, private self-catering Karoo cottage for 4 guests in Nieu-Bethesda.
Dating back to 1877, this cottage features whitewashed clay walls and a thatched roof. The spacious cottage comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, dining area, and lounge. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, with guests in this room using the main bedroom’s en-suite bathroom. A private outdoor shower with hot and cold water is also available.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests are provided with tea, coffee, milk, and rusks. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table inside, on the veranda, or in the garden. A wood-burning stove in the lounge is perfect for cosy winter evenings.
Klein Geluk boasts a lovely garden with an outdoor wood-fired braai, a veranda, garden seating, a pergola, and a farm dam. Wi-Fi, an alarm system, and parking are provided.
Nieu-Bethesda offers a variety of restaurants, a pub, and art galleries. Guests can visit the famous Owl House, home to Helen Martins’ unique and remarkable artworks, or explore the Kitching Fossil Exploration Centre. Kompasberg also offers 4x4, mountain biking, and walking trails for guests to enjoy.
