Peaceful, historic farm house. We really enjoyed our brief stay at Klipfontein Farm House. It had everything we needed, and we loved the peace and quiet. It is a very historic area, and it would have been great to be able to know a little bit more about the house and the local Boer War history, but that's a minor quibble.

Quirky, lovely, comfortable. Our stay at Klipfontein Farm House was such a lovely surprise! Everything was so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and very well equipped. We really enjoyed being able to go for a long walk on the property. Also, the Karoo night sky was something else! We only stayed for one night, but we'll definitely be back, and for longer next time!

Classic Karoo farm house accommodation. Great place in a superb location. The farmhouse is creatively decorated. I loved the remote feeling. I slept really well in a comfortable bed. The hostess was really friendly and helpful.

Peaceful and restorative. Comfortable and quiet. Spellbinding landscape. A beautiful old farmhouse freshly restored and comfortably furnished, with home touches such as a stacked bookshelf. Wonderful quality bedding and a restful sleep after absorbing night sounds and the splendid starlit skies. We enjoyed our morning walk and coffee on the stoep under swooping swallows feeding their young.

The Farm House is a tastefully renovated typical Karoo homestead. We had a wonderful stay. Quiet and peacful in the middle of big sky country! Highly recommended. Our hostess Jane' was great. Her communications were prompt and spot-on and she kindly met us on arrival. We stayed in the Travellers Room. It is within the main homestead but totally separate and private. Very comfortable big bed with the fantastic bed linen. . The braai area is indoors in an old farm barn - very unique! All the necessary braai tools and fire lighters were available - really great to arrive at such a neat and well-organised place after a long day on the road. The wifi was fantastic - amazing considering the location of the farm - well done! Our doggie enjoyed the wide open space. We will surely be back to stay longer so we can mountain bike and explore the area. Great place and highly recommended.
