Beautiful place to relax and unwind. Kom Vlei by my "Hide-Away" is an absolute gem in Wakkerstroom! The location couldn't be better. Conveniently situated near the centre of town while still offering complete peace and privacy. The surrounding scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and remarkably peaceful, making it the perfect spot to unwind, disconnect, and take in the natural tranquillity of the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway!

Historic decor with beautiful views. Beautiful unit equipped with everything you could need. Fantastic view over the vlei and very close to the bird watching trail. Couldn't have asked for more.

Thank you, Andrea, for your review. It was a pleasure to share our Hide-Away - Kom Vlei with you and your family. We have taken into account the suggestion for a "Braai Bak" at the Braai area. Thank you for the suggestion. We look forward to your next visit. Wishing you all the very best for 2026.

Had a great time and slept warm. Lovely stay in the cute, beautiful and very neat place. Tastefully furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Beautiful view of the wetland which is visited by various birds.
