Had a great time. Lodge facilities would have made it better. The word lodge is misleading. Tent and room/chalet. There is no water in the kitchen, you have to go to the bathroom to get water for the kettle. No sink to rinse anything out and no fridge. Beds in our tent definitely need better mattresses. Very outdated. Room/chalet has very little space. Breakfast was the same every morning and had to ask for eggs and bacon, which were not initially offered. Dinner is definitely not worth the price. Lovely relaxed stay and there was a lion kill on the evening game drive! We really enjoyed our stay at Kudu Ridge. It's so friendly and in the evening, if you're not on the game drive, everyone gathers around the fire chatting or playing snooker until the meal is served. Meals were delicious!
