Soso. For the same money you can stay at a better property on the north coast. Equipment old and rusty. The agent wants £300 if we leave the dishes dirty but doesn't provide cleaning utensils. Only a very small bottle of soap.

Hi Danie, Thanks for staying with us and for your valued feedback. We will inspect the rusted equipment that you have noted and discuss with the owner to replace. Are you referring to the ceiling fans? Unfortunately, being so close to the sea, it is a nightmare with rust, but we will check and address accordingly. The note actually states 300.00 Rands will be deducted from the breakage deposit and not 300.00 Pounds! This has unfortunately become necessary to prevent the excessive amount of dishes that some guests leave behind, and then we need to bring in an extra cleaner to assist with turning the unit around for the next guest. Unfortunately, because the unit is self-catering, a small welcome pack is provided as well as 2 x dishwasher tablets, but if these are used during your stay, you will need to replace them at your cost. We thank you for staying with us and hope we can accommodate you in the future.
