Lafenis is a quaint Karoo farm-style self-catering home located in the authentic town of Nieu-Bethesda, Eastern Cape.

The property can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a fireplace and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet, and washbasin. The second bedroom contains a double bed, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds. These bedrooms share the use of the second bathroom, fitted with a bath and a shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, chest freezer, cutlery, and crockery. For added convenience, a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer are available in the separate scullery. The open-plan living area features a 4-seater dining table and lounge with comfortable couches. The living area boasts 2 fireplaces for those cold winter evenings.

The living area opens onto a veranda with a built-in braai and outdoor furniture with a view of the majestic mountains. Onsite parking is provided. Nieu-Bethesda is an area best known for its iconic attractions, which include the Helen Martins Museum, Owl House, the water mill and water furrows, as well as the Art Route.
