Description
Lala Nyati Wildlife Reserve is a tranquil retreat set on a scenic game farm in the heart of the Klein Karoo, just 10 km from Uniondale. The reserve is approximately 80 km from Plettenberg Bay via the picturesque Prince Alfred Pass and about 1.5 hours from George, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Guests can enjoy a variety of on-site activities, including game drives, walking trails, and catch-and-release fishing within the reserve.
The spacious farmhouse accommodates up to 12 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and toilet. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, and toilet. The third bedroom contains three single beds, while the fourth bedroom includes a king-size bed and a single bed. The fifth bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a single bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. An additional bathroom is equipped with a bath, shower, toilet, and bidet. Linen and bath towels are provided for guest convenience.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, along with a dining table seating eight guests. A washing machine is also available. The living area offers comfortable seating, a smart TV, books, and board games, as well as a fireplace for cooler evenings. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
Outdoors, guests can relax in a private garden setting featuring a plunge pool, fire pit, and braai (barbecue) area with wood provided. Comfortable outdoor furniture and scenic views create the perfect space for unwinding. Secure parking is available behind a gate on the property.
For adventure enthusiasts, a GPS enduro track is available on the farm, and motorbikes are welcome at an additional fee of R150 per bike per day, adding an extra element of excitement to this peaceful Karoo getaway.
