Situated close to Rankin's Pass, Langkloof 1919 offers a lovely getaway on a working farm in the Waterberg Biosphere. The farm was bought in 1919 and the farmhouse was built in 1921. It has been restored to recall the quiet and remote farm life of the early nineteenth century, with added modern conveniences that do not impose on the atmosphere of a bygone era.
Accommodation is offered in 3 timeless, old farmhouses and is ideal for 4 guests each. Each house comprises 2 bedrooms of which each has their own en-suite bathroom facilities.
The houses comprises kitchens equipped for self-catering with a gas stove as well as a fridge, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans. Other amenities include tea- and coffee-making facilities and the kitchens overlook the stone bedding with seasonal herbs.
Each house has a wrap-around patio to make the most of every view and weather condition. On the back patio, there is a built-in braai, and an open-air braai area is also available on the premises.
Langkloof 1919 offers a slow living lifestyle with hiking and swimming, and the opportunity for long-distance mountain biking in the Waterberg.
