Lakefront Family Retreat is a rustic family home situated on the banks of the Swartvlei at Trails End, Sedgefield. This two-level property offers a relaxing retreat for families or groups looking to spend quality time together. The location provides direct access to the lake, ideal for boating, fishing, kayaking, SUP, and swimming.
The lodge can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms. The upper level has 2 main bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, one with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and toilet, and a third bedroom with 2 single beds sharing a bathroom with a bath, shower, and toilet. The lower level offers 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 three-quarter beds, sharing a bathroom with a shower. All linen and bath towels are provided; guests should bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, cutlery, and crockery, along with a dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen flows into a lounge with comfortable seating, a dining table, and a smart TV. Free, capped Wi-Fi is available, with top-up options if needed.
Outside, a wrap-around balcony with an indoor braai and large dining table overlooks the lake. The property features secure on-site parking, a communal swimming pool, a jungle gym for children, and a games room with a pool table, dart boards, and table tennis. Guests also have access to a private jetty.
