Description

Lesedi Lodge is located in Sondela Nature Reserve in the Limpopo Province, which is just outside the town of Bela Bela. The lodge is approximately 90 min from Johannesburg international airport.

This unit can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a loft area. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with double basin, corner bath, and shower. There is an outside shower leading out from this bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. the Third bedroom has 2 single beds. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom between them, comprises a double basin, shower and toilet.

The open-plan loft area is equipped with a double bed, 2 sleeper couches, chairs, and tables, a built-in cupboard and a private bathroom with a bath, toilet and a wash basin. Leading out from the loft area is a wooden deck area with a table and 2 chairs, overlooking the boma area and drinking hole.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, pots, cutlery and crockery. There is a separate washing up area with a dishwasher and front loader washing machine. The lounge comprises 3 2-seater couches and a flat-screen TV with a limited DStv bouquet and a DVD player. There are games, puzzles and reading material in the cupboard. The outside entertainment area is a veranda with a 8-seater table, a 2-seater couch, coffee table, and a built-in braai. The verandah can be fully closed with canvas blinds.

There is a battery system and an inverter for loa shedding. The stove/oven is not connected to the battery and can't be used during load shedding.

There is also a boma area, with 10 chairs around a fire pit. All rooms include linen and towels, but guests must bring their own swimming towels.

Sondela nature reserve offers a variety of wildlife interaction, nature walks, MTB trails. Activities include game drives, horse rides, 4x4, swimming pools, tennis court, spa, and wildlife rehabilitation centre visits.
