Peaceful, great location, well equipped. My husband and I stayed at Lloyd Road Cottages while we were in Port Elizabeth for a diving course, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The cottage is set in a beautiful, established garden under gorgeous trees, which immediately creates a sense of calm and privacy. It was warm, inviting, and felt wonderfully secluded. The location is ideal: close to excellent restaurants and amenities, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Everything about the cottage felt thoughtfully considered. From ample plug points and adapters to well-equipped appliances, good knives, and all the small touches that make a stay seamless and easy, nothing was overlooked. Carol was a fantastic host—friendly, communicative, and attentive, while also being very discreet. We always felt well looked after without ever feeling intruded upon. I would highly recommend Lloyd Road Cottages to anyone spending a few nights in PE, whether for work or leisure. It truly felt like a home away from home.
