Lodge 1107 @ Mabalingwe is a luxury safari retreat situated within the renowned Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, offering an exclusive bushveld escape ideal for families and groups. Set within a Big Five reserve, the lodge provides a private and comfortable stay surrounded by natural scenery, wildlife, and a wide range of on-site leisure and adventure activities.
The lodge can accommodate up to 14 guests and comprises 4 air-conditioned bedrooms. The first and second bedrooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 child-only beds. The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds, while the fourth loft sleeping area includes a queen-size bed. All bedrooms feature full en-suite bathrooms and bath towels, bed linen, extra pillows, blankets, wardrobes, and essential toiletries are provided for guest convenience.
The open-plan living area includes a lounge, dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, mini bar, and cooking basics. An indoor fireplace and braai area create a warm and social atmosphere, while a Smart TV with DStv, streaming services, and entertainment options such as a pool table and table tennis are available for guest enjoyment. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also provided for added convenience.
Outdoor facilities include a private swimming pool, covered patio, outdoor dining area, fire pit, and comfortable outdoor furniture designed for relaxed bushveld living. Guests have access to secure parking, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and loadshedding backup via an inverter. Additional on-reserve activities include game drives, bush walks, cycling, birdwatching, spa treatments, mini golf, squash, tennis, soccer, and access to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars within the reserve. Game vehicle hire is available for exploring the surrounding Big Five environment.
