Description
Lodge 606 is a private self-catering retreat nestled at the foot of a hill within the scenic Mabalingwe Nature Reserve. Surrounded by the bushveld, the lodge provides a tranquil escape for families and groups, offering the perfect combination of relaxation and outdoor adventure. Guests are able to enjoy the natural surroundings while remaining within close reach of reserve amenities, including Big Five game viewing, golf, horse riding, spa facilities, and communal activities.
The cottage comfortably accommodates up to eight guests in three spacious bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, a double sleeper couch suitable for children, and a full en-suite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms each feature queen-size beds with full en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and furnished with bed linens, bath towels, extra pillows and blankets, and spacious closets or wardrobes to ensure a comfortable stay.
The open-plan living area comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and a lounge with a smart TV, DStv, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen contains a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, and all necessary cooking basics. Large glass doors open onto a wooden deck featuring a private swimming pool, a braai area with gas facilities, outdoor furniture, and a fire pit. A sky boma provides a unique space to gather around the fire under the stars while enjoying the bushveld atmosphere.
Additional on-site and nearby facilities include mini golf, table tennis, pool table, squash and tennis courts, and secure free parking with driveway access. Power backup is ensured with an inverter and load-shedding provisions. Guests can also access a coffee shop, farm shop, and ATM within the reserve, providing convenience alongside the bushveld experience.
Lodge 606 offers a memorable retreat where guests are able to unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy a mix of relaxation and adventure in the heart of Mabalingwe.
