Description

Arends Rus is a privately owned, family-friendly lodge on a mountaintop overlooking the Loskop Dam.

Accommodation consists of three rustic log cabins. Each log cabin has: two bedrooms with linen and built in cupboards, bathroom, kitchen/dining room, outside stoep overlooking the dam, fully fitted kitchen (cutlery, crockery, plates, pots, microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, etc.,) private undercover parking for two vehicles, outside open-air shower (warm water); own private braai area with 3 poot-potjie and grid.

Fisant is the first cabin on your right as you enter the three cabins on Arends Rus and consists of two bedrooms each with a queen size bed, as well as a sleeper couch in the dining area - ideal for a family with children - sleeps 4 or 5;

Naguil is situated in the middle of the three, and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds - sleeps 4;

Visarend Cabin is closest to the main house and consists of two bedrooms each with a double bed - sleeps 4.

The lodge has a communal swimming pool, sun deck, and lawn. Close to Fisant is also a trampoline and play-park for children. The entire farm is open for walks.

Nearby attractions include hiking, fishing, safaris, boating, fishing charters, bird watching, and a 9-hole golf course, 5 minutes’ drive away. Arends Rus is 46 km from Middelburg and 192 km from O.R. Tambo International Airport.
