Description

Lord and Lady’s Bush Lodge is situated in the southern part of Dinokeng Game Reserve, east of Pretoria. Surrounded by peaceful bushveld, the lodge offers comfortable accommodation for couples, families and groups seeking a relaxing getaway close to nature.

The lodge offers 6 luxury glamping tents, 2 bush camps and a private caravan and camping site.

The luxury glamping tents each accommodate 2 guests and feature an open-plan layout with a queen-size bed and a full en-suite bathroom. Each tent has a private wooden deck with outdoor furniture and a gas braai. The bush camps accommodate up to 6 guests each and comprise dome tents furnished with queen-size beds and single beds for children. Quality linen and bath towels are provided.

Each glamping tent and bush camp has its own kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each bush camp also has a private boma with braai facilities.

The private caravan and camping site accommodates 1 to 6 guests and offers electricity, two showers, two toilets, a washing-up area, braai facilities and a boma.

Guests can enjoy the heated and unheated swimming pools, two jacuzzis, a viewing deck, bar, chapel and Wi-Fi. Wildlife is often spotted around the property, providing an authentic bushveld experience. The on-site restaurant caters for groups by prior reservation only.

Guided Big Five game drives of approximately three hours can be arranged directly from the lodge. Drives include a snack and refreshments. A minimum of four paying guests is required. Smaller groups may join other guests, subject to availability, or arrange a private drive by paying for the minimum required number of guests.

Romantic packages are available and include sparkling wine, sweet and savoury treats, candles, balloons and confetti. The luxury option includes premium Boschendal sparkling wine.

Massages and treatments are available by prior reservation. Game drives, massages and romantic packages must be booked and paid for in advance.

Dinokeng Game Reserve also offers several restaurants and self-drive game-viewing opportunities. Please note that the reserve’s conservation fee is not included in the accommodation rate and must be paid separately at the entrance gate.
