Description
Luiperdskloof Safaris is situated in the majestic Waterberg district, approximately a 2-hour drive from Gauteng and 27 km from Modimolle. The lodge is positioned within a malaria-free area and is surrounded by natural bushveld scenery, where landscaped indigenous gardens attract a variety of birdlife, including bee-eaters and black sunbirds. A peaceful safari-style setting is maintained, making the property well-suited to family getaways and small group stays.
Accommodation is offered in five exclusive stone and thatched chalets, each individually themed and elegantly furnished with locally inspired décor. Each chalet is designed for privacy and comfort, with en-suite bathrooms fitted with refined African-inspired finishes. In addition, the self-catering Kudu House is provided and can accommodate up to 10 guests in a secluded thatched home, with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms designed for group occupancy in a private bush setting.
A range of self-catering and hospitality facilities is made available on-site. The main lodge area is equipped with a communal kitchen, bar, dining area, and fireplace, all arranged in a central social space that flows toward the swimming pool. A splash pool is also set within the landscaped gardens, while braai facilities, a boma, and a lapa are provided for outdoor dining and relaxation. The Kudu House is fully equipped and includes its own outdoor braai boma, lapa, and swimming pool for exclusive use.
Guests are offered the option of self-catering or full-board stays, with homemade cuisine prepared by an in-house chef available by prior arrangement. A selection of South African and European-inspired dishes is served, complemented by a curated wine selection. A variety of activities are available on-site and in the surrounding area, including paddle boarding, canoeing, hiking and mountain biking trails, wildlife photography, day and night game drives, and bass fishing, ensuring a well-rounded bushveld experience.
