Mabalingwe is a wonderful game reserve. We have been visiting Mabalingwe for some time, the unit is perfectly located, but the appliances are not all in working condition. Our kettle was broken, and the fridge freezer is also very small, one bag of ice and the freezer compartment is full. The air conditioning system also only blew wind and did not cool the unit as it should.

It was very pleasant. It was peaceful and quiet. Njala's, Kudu's, guinea fowl, pheasants and pigs roam wild there, also saw a few monkeys. Braai area is a few meters from the site. Limited space inside, but otherwise quite ok for 2 people.

Sleeping was comfortable, but the rest of the unit was not. Part of the kitchen is outside. The unit unfortunately does not compare well with others in the same complex. At the same price there are unfortunately fewer amenities and facilities. Bedding and beds are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the rest of the unit is not well maintained. DStv did not work initially, but later sorted out after communication with the owner. The remote does not work. The bar fridge is very small and the freezer space (quite damaged) not even enough for a pack of ice.

I have stayed in the Elephant Lodge area a few times and this time I had a bad experience. Elephant lodge is not neatly "Maintained" bushes grow over walking paths to Bomas and trees overgrow. . The unit's plugs are faulty and the refrigerator runs down, turns on and off and the meat has gone bad. Braai tongs broken and then no cutting knives available. Some of the remote batteries are dead. Outside light in the kitchen does not work.

Disappointing! Good day. This is the most beautiful camp, but it really needs attention, around the chalets it is not neat. Our chalet was very dirty, the boiler did not work, the air conditioning did not work 100%. The outer cupboard and sink were dirty. There are no proper kitchen utensils to cook food in. It was really a very big disappointment!
