Not value for money. Very nice but expensive for what you get.

Friendly staff, the place can do with an upgrade for the price they are charging. The linen and towels are old, and no fresh produce is served on site. I was served old chicken wings with lots of marinade to disguise them, stale or frozen veggies. The gowns for the spa are old, and the shower heads are old as well.

Unpleaseant experience at what is a nice place. Disappointing to be told that, after confirming in writing that the rates included dinner and breakfast, dinner was not included. When I showed the receptionist their own words on the the website, she just told me, "I don't understand Afrikaans." I just had to suck it up and pay.

Everything was perfect - a job well done. Thanks to Magalies lodge & spa staff, I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge. To the spa staff: your are wonderful and you know your job, your kindness and friendliness was appreciated. To the restaurant & the cleaning staff: you are so wonderful. I enjoyed the food and you were polite and friendly together with those who cleaned my chalet. You are so honest too. Well done Magalies Lodge Staff.
