Description

Makhasa Private Game Lodge is nestled in an ancient and rare sand forest within the Munywana Game Reserve, just three hours from Durban. Guests have the opportunity to experience the Big 5 game, 7 different habitats, and over 436 bird species.

Makhasa guests enjoy two private game drive experiences a day (sunrise and sunset) with &Beyond Phinda’s world-class trained guides, this experience offers private traversing over more than 12 000 hectares. All meals are also included and are crafted seasonal meals prepared by our on-site chef.

We have 6 private suites with an en-suite bathroom, a shaded balcony with glass doors and air conditioning. Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the lodge and suites.

Breakfast and lunch are served on the deck, with a shaded view of the nearby watering hole. Guests can expect all sorts of wildlife visitors, including members of the Big 5, to make an appearance. Be sure to relax on the deck while joining the waterhole callers.
