Description

Makhato 9 is a medium 6-sleeper house situated in the tranquil Sondela Nature Reserve. Surrounded by natural bush and wildlife, the house provides an ideal setting for relaxed outdoor living.

The house comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom is located beside the loft and features 2 single beds, a small private balcony and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The main downstairs bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has a full en-suite bathroom, while the second downstairs bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds and also has a full en-suite bathroom. Bed linen and bath towels are supplied.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a 5-plate gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a separate scullery. The open-plan living area has comfortable seating and opens to the outdoor entertainment area. The loft features a dining space, a 2-seater sofa, a pool table, and doors leading to a balcony furnished with 2 outdoor chairs. Additional facilities include full DStv, Wi-Fi and ceiling fans.

Outside, guests can enjoy a walled swimming pool, a thatched boma with braai facilities, outdoor seating, and a fire pit. 3 Covered parking bays are provided. The reserve offers a range of on-site activities, including game drives, guided horse trails, quad bike outings, cycling and hiking trails, birdwatching excursions, and family-friendly experiences such as the wildlife centre, junior rangers programme, animal farmyard and 4x4 obstacle course.
