Description
Mamba House is a cosy self-catering home in the bushveld of Marloth Park, accommodating 6 to 8 guests.
The house comprises 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed. A double sleeper couch is available in the living area. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, bath, and toilet. Guests are kindly requested to bring their own towels, toiletries, and toilet paper.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, ice maker, kettle for the gas stove, as well as all necessary crockery, cutlery, and utensils. For younger guests, colourful plastic plates, cups, and cutlery are provided.
The living area features a TV with a radio/DVD player. There is no DStv, but a TV stick is available to access Netflix, or guests may use their own laptops for streaming services. Outside, there is a spacious entertainment area with built-in braai facilities and a splash pool. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available, although signals in the park itself may be slightly weak. The house is also equipped with emergency lights for load shedding, and both bedrooms have rechargeable bedside lamps.
Mamba House is just 2 km from the Crocodile River lookout. Visitors to Marloth Park can enjoy sightings of free-roaming wildlife and partake in activities such as birdwatching, cycling, and hiking. The village also offers a waterpark and basic amenities, including a liquor store, restaurants, a bakery, butcher, curio shop, and a petrol station.
