Idyllic Rose Thatch Cottage is a charming and elegant self-catering cottage located in a secure complex at the start of the Midlands Meander in Howick. This is an ideal option for a peaceful getaway as it is centrally located close to many amenities and local attractions.
This double-storey property can accommodate a total of 4 guests at a time and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms which are completely covered from any thatch exposure. The main bedroom is situated on the ground level and is furnished with a queen-size bed. A bath, shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the main en-suite bathroom. The spacious second bedroom is situated upstairs and contains 2 single beds and a lounging area. A shower is available in this en-suite bathroom. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails.
The open-plan living area occupies the lower level and features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, 2-plate gas stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a cosy lounge with comfortable seating and a Smart TV with a full selection of DStv channels. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.
Outside, the cottage there is a beautiful garden with outdoor seating under an umbrella which is an ideal spot for a morning coffee or a sundowner while listening to the birds sing. Guests are afforded a secure and covered parking bay at the cottage.
