Melkhout Beach Bungalow offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a spacious beach bungalow in Kommetjie, Western Cape, ideally located just 200 m from Kommetjie Beach. This charming coastal retreat is perfect for families or groups looking for a relaxing beach getaway, with bright, open-plan living spaces and a relaxed atmosphere.
The bungalow accommodates 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower and twin basins. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds, built-in cupboards, a work desk, natural light, and books, while the third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and built-in cupboards. The main bathroom is fitted with a large shower, toilet, and basin.
The living area features a bright, open-plan design with plenty of natural light and seamless flow onto the patio and deck. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cutlery, and crockery. A breakfast table seats 6 guests, while the dining area also features a 6-seater dining table. Tea, coffee, and sugar are provided, with additional items available on request. A washing machine is also available for added convenience.
The comfortable lounge offers seating, a smart TV with DStv channels, fast fibre Wi-Fi, and a piano. A cosy fireplace provides a warm and inviting space for relaxing on colder winter evenings.
Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious patio and deck with a plunge pool, pool cover, hot and cold outdoor shower, built-in braai area, and outdoor dining space for 6 to 8 guests. The outdoor area is ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach or enjoying meals in the fresh coastal air.
Guests have exclusive access to the entire home during their stay. Ample parking is available on the large driveway, with additional free street parking. A cleaning service is also available on request.
