Description
Mirrior Safaris is located on a farm west of Musina, near the Venetia Mine, offering peaceful self-catering accommodation for families and friends seeking a bushveld experience. The farm has 2 lodges, each with a number of comfortable units for couples or small groups. A campsite is also available at a special rate.
Kremetart Lodge has 12 units, 11 of which contain either a double bed or 2 three-quarter beds, and one unit with a three-quarter bed. Each unit features an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchenette with self-catering facilities. The lodge is built around a large, beautiful Kremetart tree. All rooms have air conditioning and a television. The lodge offers its own Wi-Fi, a boma for fireside gatherings, a swimming pool, a hall for functions or conferences with a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry. A lapa bar is also available. The lodge is fenced and within walking distance of a small dam. Bed linen and towels are provided, daily cleaning is included in the rate, and laundry can be arranged on request at a fixed cost per kg. Guests are asked to bring their own swimming towels. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms, bathrooms, or hall.
Foxhole Lodge has 4 units, 2 with double beds and 2 with 2 three-quarter beds. Like Kremetart Lodge, each unit at Foxhole has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, a fully equipped kitchenette, and comes with bed linen and towels. Wi-Fi is available, and daily cleaning is included in the rate. Laundry can also be arranged on request at a fixed cost per kilogram. Guests are asked to bring their own swimming towels. Foxhole Lodge is situated on the escarpment of the Kongo River and features a swimming pool and a boma.
The farm also offers fishing dams, birdwatching, mountain biking trails, and opportunities for day trips to nearby national parks and game reserves. These activities make Mirrior Safaris an ideal getaway for those looking to escape the city and experience the natural beauty of the bushveld. Various species of antelope roam the property, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. One of the few wild groups of ground hornbills outside Kruger National Park also breeds on the farm. For photography enthusiasts, the farm provides numerous opportunities for exceptional wildlife photography.
Please note that Mirrior Safaris is a working farm, and guests may participate in farm activities on request. Special rates may be negotiated for mine contractors, particularly for long-term group stays.
