Good, could have been better. My husband and I planned a getaway for our anniversary, which the description of Casa-Rose Cottage fit our bill. We wanted a secluded small space, not too far from home as this was the first time that we would be away without our kids, self-catering so that we don't have to be woken up by specific breakfast and lunchtimes, and a place with a few elite restaurants or attraction sites close by that we can explore in our own free time. Although the description was honest in that the cottage is on the premises of the main estate, what I didn't expect is that it would be attached to the main house - and that one could hear people inside and outside of the main house making it feel like we were not in a secluded space, but rather 'visiting others'. The place was neat and clean, very well maintained, we felt very welcome upon arrival, the pool is great, the bathroom is spacious, and they had more than enough towels for bathroom usage and for after swimming, all these are a great plus. Maybe consider a better quality bed, day 1 the bed was fine - we were also very tired, both of us work full time and have 2 kids under 7 - we could just have been too tired. But by Sunday we woke up with back aches. This could also be due to sleeping in more than usual, so I'm not entirely sure.

“Great self-catering stay! The unit was clean and comfortable. The cottage was clean, with the necessary essentials, and felt very comfortable. Away from the main entrance and provided a lot of privacy. Hosts were very warm and welcoming. Perfect for a relaxing break.
