Moonbeam Hideaway – Exquisite Views @ Cape Winelands is a private self-catering home located in Somerset West, nestled on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains. The property enjoys uninterrupted mountain views and offers a peaceful retreat where guests can experience the changing colours of the landscape from sunrise to sunset. Surrounded by a fynbos garden and mature oak trees, the home provides a tranquil setting while remaining close to the attractions of the Cape Winelands.

The home can accommodate up to 5 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size extra-length bed and features built-in cupboards and a glass door that opens onto a private garden. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and includes a free-standing wardrobe. The third bedroom offers mountain views and is furnished with a daybed and a desk, making it suitable as a single bedroom for a child or as a workspace or reading room. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin, and there is a separate guest toilet available.

The open-plan living area is bright and airy, featuring exposed beams and a reed ceiling. Glass doors open onto both the central courtyard and a spacious patio, creating an easy flow between the indoor and outdoor living areas. The patio offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and includes outdoor seating and a dining table where guests can relax while enjoying the scenery. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, air fryer, cutlery, crockery, and a DeLonghi coffee machine. A separate scullery is available and includes a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer.

Outdoor features include a large fynbos garden, a natural pool with deck chairs, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower with views of the mountains. Guests can also enjoy shaded off-street parking beneath mature oak trees. Complimentary fibre Wi-Fi is available, and a weekly cleaning service is included for stays longer than 7 nights, with additional cleaning available on request at an additional cost.
