Moonbeam Hideaway – Exquisite Views @ Cape Winelands is a private self-catering home in Somerset West, set on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains. Surrounded by a fynbos garden and mature oak trees, the property offers uninterrupted mountain views and a peaceful retreat where guests can enjoy the changing colours of the landscape from sunrise to sunset, while remaining close to the attractions of the Cape Winelands.
The home accommodates up to 5 guests in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom features a queen-size extra-length bed, built-in cupboards, and a glass door opening onto a private garden. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a free-standing wardrobe. The third bedroom, with mountain views, is furnished with a daybed and a desk, making it suitable for a child or as a workspace. One bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin, and there is a separate guest toilet.
The open-plan living area is bright and airy, with exposed beams and a reed ceiling. Glass doors open onto a central courtyard and a spacious patio with outdoor seating and a dining table, offering views of the surrounding mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, air fryer, cutlery, crockery, and a DeLonghi coffee machine. A separate scullery contains a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer.
Outdoor facilities include a natural pool, fire pit, outdoor shower, and shaded off-street parking. Complimentary fibre Wi-Fi is available.
