Rough start, good ending. The first room was a disaster, the windows of the room are tied to the veranda of the room next door. It was a comfortable stay in a conveniently located guest house. The stay at Motown was comfortable; I felt that all my belongings were safe even when I wasn't there. The room was well kept on a daily basis as someone would clean. The location was also brilliant as it is just a few minutes away from the beach and the shops. I really enjoyed my holiday and my stay at Motown; it was a pleasant experience.

Awful disgusting and unacceptable in all respects. I was astounded that a place such as this could be listed at all in the website’s portfolio. An overheated cubicle of a room, west-facing, no ventilation, no aircon, one small top window which can half-open, and a shared bathroom (used by three rooms, all cubicles approximately 2.5 x 3 m). I did not stay but left without checking in after inspecting the so-called room. When I said to the receptionist that it is no hotel, she told me it is not — it's a hostel. I lodged a formal complaint with the website on WhatsApp but received no response. Fully paid in advance. Cape opportunism at its supreme best.

Perfect place for a quick visit in Seepunt. We were some friends to celebrate a birthday, and the location is right in the middle of all the eateries and shops, we could walk everywhere, and it was nice.
