Description

Mount Park Guest Farm is located in the beautiful Dargle region of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands at the foothills of the Inhlosana Mountains. The diverse combination of grasslands, indigenous forests, and wetlands that you will find here provides a habitat for a wide variety of bird species such as the Cape parrot, crowned crane, Knysna turaco, and many more.

It is a cattle farm that also offers guest accommodation in 2 cabins, 2 cottages, The farmhouse and Caravan and camping sites. About 40 hectares of the farm's surface is covered by natural forest, where the rare tree dassie resides. You might be lucky enough to hear their distinctive call at night. The rest of the farm consists of mountains, a large natural wetland, and some timber and grasslands.

The Logger Route, Dassie Route, Loeries Flight, Porcupine Crawl, and Leopard's Leap are exciting hiking trails on the farm.
