Muzuri, meaning Good in Swahili, is the name of our house in Jeffrey’s Bay on the South-East coast of South Africa. The property offers spacious, fully furnished units with stunning views of the Noorsekloof Valley, surrounding ravines, and the coastline, providing a tranquil and scenic retreat.
The house comprises 2 units with a total of 9 en-suite bedrooms, each furnished with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are fitted with either a bath and shower or a shower only. The units feature open-plan kitchens equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Additional amenities include a TV with selected DStv channels, free Wi-Fi, a private braai area, a communal swimming pool, and a Jacuzzi, which can be booked and paid for on-site. Secure private parking is available either in a double garage or in front of the garage.
Muzuri is spread over three floors, each containing a private apartment with its own entrance, parking, bedrooms, and outdoor entertainment area. Rooms within each apartment are prepared according to guest numbers and requests, with unneeded rooms locked to avoid unnecessary cleaning. The house is a peaceful retreat for families and friends; loud music or unruly behaviour is not tolerated. Located within the Noorsekloof Nature Reserve, guests are required to adhere to the Noise Control Regulations under Section 25 of the Environment Conservation Act (1989), with quiet hours enforced after 10:00 PM. On-site management will intervene if these rules are not followed.
