It was a fantastic, nostalgic week for us. Harold's Bay will always be with us. My sister and I stayed at Nagenoeg Vakansiehuis for a week and it was an incredibly special experience for us. The house is very close to our hearts, as it originally belonged to our Grandpa Grootjie, Oompie Meyer (former mayor of George). The place still has its original architectural style and brings back so many precious memories from our childhood when we came here to visit family. The location is wonderful – so close to the sea that you can just sit on the stoep and enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset. The house is neat, comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Johan helped us very nicely with everything, and Laurika kept the house beautifully clean. When we arrived, she even kindly helped us carry our luggage in, which felt very special. It was a fantastic, nostalgic week for us. Harolds Bay will always remain a piece of land by the sea for us.
