Excellent. Fabulous stay. On arrival, the receptionist had one look at my husband and said that the bed in the room we booked would not fit his frame. We were upgraded to a bigger room and facilities. It was very private. Superb location, close to restaurants and shops, great views and walks that were very accessible. The bed was enormous, which suited my husband's large frame. Breakfast was good, but I have to say that the continental self-help pastry section was never fresh - stale muffins, etc. I pointed this out to the cook.

Comfortable, attractive, convenient. Lovely reception, generally very helpful staff, beautiful room - maybe think of having mugs not tea cups and saucers in the room, or both. Also real milk not Cremora. Breakfast was confusing - ticked off yoghurt and fruit but had to ask for yoghurt, friends also ticked off things they did not get. My chair in the breakfast room needed attention; it sort of slumped at the seat. Also, because it was the last day before a break, it seemed like everyone was just in a bit of a rush. Otherwise, a great stay.
