Description
New England Cottage is a lovely self-catering holiday cottage situated on a farm in the area of Garden Castle in Southern Drakensberg. It makes for a great homebase for friends and family who are looking for a peaceful and convenient getaway where they can be surrounded by the beauty of the countryside.
This beautifully appointed cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All 3 bedrooms are furnished with a king-size bed and each room has its own en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a bath, shower, basin and toilet. The separate bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. Bed linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a dining table. A dishwasher is available for extra convenience. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and for guests' entertainment there is a TV, and for comfort, there are fireplaces. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can enjoy a spacious undercover patio with an outdoor dining and seating area, and a braai. Secure parking is available on the premises. Activities and attractions in the surrounding area include hiking trails, fly-fishing, horse riding at Pig and Pony and unspoiled views. Underberg is approximately 37 km away, and here guests can enjoy amenities such as shops and restaurants.
