New Vasuki is situated in Elands Bay and offers self-catering accommodation on more than 3 hectares of indigenous Strandveld within a RAMSAR-protected wetland conservancy. This off-grid farmhouse overlooks a tranquil vlei and enjoys private access to the lake, creating an ideal setting for birdwatching, freshwater fishing, and nature-based stays.
The farmhouse accommodates up to 6 guests in 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and a bunk bed, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, and toilet. The second bedroom contains a double bed. There are 2 bathrooms, each fitted with a bath and an overhead shower. Linen and bath towels are supplied.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area has comfortable seating.
The patio offers a beautiful view, and braai facilities are available. The enclosed garden features an orchard with organically grown fruit trees and a vegetable garden, while outdoor furniture provides comfortable seating to enjoy the natural surroundings. Free secure, covered parking is available.
The property operates off-grid with solar panels, an inverter, and a generator for load-shedding support. No wifi but reasonable mobile network. The Atlantic Ocean’s well-known surf break at the mouth of the vlei and the Diepkloof UNESCO World Heritage Site are located within 5 km.
