Nthakeni Bush and River Campsites is situated on the banks of the Mutale River, a hidden gem in the far northeastern region of Limpopo. The camp is a nature lover's paradise, offering exceptional birdwatching and unique flora. This property provides a rustic self-catering experience, perfect for a small family or a group of friends seeking a peaceful getaway. With its charming atmosphere, there is something for everyone to enjoy, making it the ideal destination to soak up the sun, unwind, and reconnect with nature.
The property offers guests a choice of 5 campsites, accommodating between 6 and 12 guests per site. Each campsite has access to a private ablution block with a shower. Campers are required to bring their own solar power systems if they need electricity for refrigerators or other appliances, as well as all their own camping equipment.
Accommodation at Nthakeni Bush and River Camps includes a group tented camp, comfortable thatched chalets, riverside campsites, bush campsites, and rustic camping sites. The main camping area features a natural rock pool and a small kiosk selling basic essentials.
Additional on-site facilities include braai facilities, Wi-Fi access, and secure parking. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, embark on self-drive game viewing routes, explore the hiking trails, go birdwatching, or simply relax under the magnificent African night sky while stargazing.
