Oakron @ Patatsfontein Stay offers glamping for 2 guests on a working farm in the beautiful Patatsfontein Valley, set at the foot of the Wabooms Mountains.
Nestled beneath centuries-old oak trees and accessed by stairs, this secluded glamping tent offers a peaceful sense of privacy with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The open-plan tent is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the bathroom features a bath for long, restful soaks. Guests can also enjoy an outdoor shower and a private wood-fired hot tub for a truly memorable farm stay experience.
The kitchenette is equipped with a gas stove, fridge, gas kettle, gas toaster and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests can unwind in the cosy lounge area or out on the deck, taking in the quiet beauty of the valley. Braai facilities are also available, and additional wood can be purchased on the farm.
Guests can enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including walking, running, mountain biking, birdwatching, 4x4 trails, swimming in the dam, and fruit picking in season. In the evenings, Oakron invites you to slow down completely and take in the vast, star-filled Karoo sky.
