Ocean Blue Guesthouse offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in the tranquil suburb of The Bluff, Durban. Boasting beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, this guesthouse is ideal for holidaymakers and business travellers seeking a relaxing coastal stay.
Accommodation is offered in a variety of self-catering units, including the Chalet, Garden Cottage, and Cottage.
The Chalet accommodates up to 5 adults and comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. An additional day bed is available in the lounge. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Guests can enjoy ocean views from the main bedroom, open-plan kitchen, and lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge features a flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels and opens onto a balcony overlooking the ocean, where whale sightings may occasionally be enjoyed during the season.
The Garden Cottage and Cottage are open-plan units ideally suited to couples. Each unit is furnished with a comfortable bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The kitchenette is equipped with the necessary appliances, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities for a comfortable self-catering stay. Each unit includes a flat-screen TV and a washing machine. Guests are required to bring their own decoder. Free WiFi is available.
All units are equipped with air conditioning and have private entrances. Secure on-site parking is provided. Linen and bath towels are supplied; however, guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The property is situated less than 3 km from Anstey’s Beach and is conveniently located close to shopping centres, restaurants, and takeaway outlets. Durban Central is approximately 14 km away, while King Shaka International Airport is approximately 40 km away. For golf enthusiasts, The Bluff Country Club is situated within 3 km of the guesthouse.
