Old Mill Lodge & Restaurant is situated on a working ostrich farm at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains, in Schoemanshoek.

Accommodation is offered in various self-catering and non-self-catering units, luxury cabins situated next to the dam, and luxury tented accommodation on the banks of the river.

Old Mill Lodge has 3 swimming pools and offers a variety of activities such as 4x4 routes, hiking, bass fishing, a playpark with a mini zipline, and a pony and bunny park. Horse riding is available nearby and the Cango Caves are only 12 km away.

Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and/or dinner at the a la carte restaurant just a few kilometres from Oudtshoorn, with a spectacular view of mountains, gardens and the Grobelaarsriver that crosses the farm.

Old Mill Lodge & Restaurant is also the perfect location for weddings, functions and conferences. The venue hosts up to 300 people with a spacious dance floor, undercover braai facilities, swimming pool area and garden gazebo for a perfect ceremony. The gazebo seats up to 200 people. The venue has a spectacular view of the farm and the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains.
