The Omdraai Guest Farm and Venue offers comfortable and modern accommodation as well as a wedding venue on a working farm just outside Ficksburg in the Free State. The farm is located near to the Lesotho border and offers uninterrupted views of the Maluti Mountains. The farm is in close proximity to bigger cities making it the ideal location for a quick getaway weekend filled with outdoor activities, relaxing and hearty family hospitality.
Accommodation is offered in 6 individual Lesaka Rooms and a separate Cottage. The beds are made up with top-quality linen and there are soft towels in the bathrooms.
The Lesaka Rooms each have private entrances. The rooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed or 2 single beds and have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Amenities include tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The Cottage is separate from the main house and has 4 bedrooms each furnished with a queen-size bed. The fifth bedroom is furnished with a single bunk bed. The first bathroom is fitted with a shower and toilet and the second bathroom is fitted with a bath and a toilet. A guest toilet is available for extra convenience. Amenities include a TV, a lounge and dining room, and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, toaster, small fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Braai facilities are available, please arrange in advance.
Guests are welcome to swim in the old, traditional farm dam and enjoy the walking or jogging trails. Dry-cleaning services are available on request. Secure parking is provided, and Wi-Fi is available at the office.
The Omdraai Guest Farm and Venue has a liquor license and soft drinks, beer and wine are for sale at the 'Melkstal'.
