The Orchard - Corner Cottage and View Cabin are two units on a working farm called Minie, located in the heart of the Cape Winelands in Paarl. It offers self-catering accommodation to holidaymakers, business travellers, or even a couple looking for a romantic getaway.
The modern Orchard Corner Cottage is suitable for 2 guests and features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, bath, basin, and toilet.
This open-plan unit also includes a kitchenette equipped with an induction plate, toaster, microwave, bar fridge, and a Nespresso coffee machine. In addition, there is a fireplace, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and the full DStv package. WiFi is available on the premises.
The cottage opens onto a courtyard with a wood-fired hot tub, braai area, table and chairs, and beautiful views of the Paarl mountains.
The luxurious Orchard View Cabin, with its 180-degree breathtaking views over the guava orchard and Paarl Mountain, accommodates either 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 13.
The cabin is furnished with a queen-size bed as well as a double couch that can be converted into a sleeper couch for children aged 13 and younger.
This open-plan unit also includes a kitchenette equipped with an induction plate, toaster, microwave, fridge, and a Nespresso coffee machine. Additional amenities include air conditioning and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. WiFi is available on the premises.
The View Cabin also leads to one of the farm’s storage dams, which has been converted into an open braai area with a private plunge pool (soon to be converted into a wood-fired hot tub by the end of April) and a picnic bench.
The Orchard - Corner Cottage & View Cabin is located close to various wine farms, shops, and attractions such as the Taal Monument.
